How to change font size in outlook email

When you start a new email in Microsoft Outlook default font and font size is Calibri 11 point is used but you can change this default font and size. Today, in this article, I will share with you how to change font size in Outlook email.
To change the default font and font size in MS Outlook please follow the instruction below.
- Open the Microsoft Outlook desktop application.
- Go to the File tab, Select Options from the left side.
- Select the Mail tab and click the Stationery and Fonts button.
- Select the Personal Stationery tab.

A new window will open where you will find three options where you can change the font for
- New mail messages
- Replying or forwarding messages
- Composing and plain text messages.
When you click the Font button a new window will open from where you can change the default font and set new default font. From the Font tab you can open the followings:
- Font: You can choose your font from here like Arial, Times New Roman, etc.
- Font Style: You can choose font style from here like Regular, Bold, Italic, etc.
- Size: You can choose your font size from here.
- Font color: You can change your font color from here.
- Besides these, you can choose some built-in effects like Superscript, Subscript, All caps, etc.
- Preview: Here you can see the preview of your selected font.
- Set as Default: If you want your selected font to be set as default you can click this button.
- After changing your task click the OK button to complete the task.
Change your font while composing an email
While composing your email you can change the font, font size, colour, etc. To change the font while composing follow the instructions below.
- Open the Microsoft Outlook desktop application.
- Go to the Home tab, and click the New Email button to start composing a new email message.
- The new email message window will open. Select email body.
- Under the Message tab, you will find a group named Basic Text.
- You can change your font, font size, and font style from fere.

When you are writing an email for your recipient, you have to follow some rules. Many of us do not know the basics. They use multiple colors, fonts, and font sizes which makes his email gaudy. We can follow these dos and don’t while composing a new email message.
